Seward and Homer split up under all current proposed Redistricting plans - is that what YOU want?

The Alaska Redistricting Board (mostly appointed by Gov Parnell) is in the process of using the results of the 2010 Census to draw new House and Senate District boundaries. There are lots of plans being bandied about (click on map for more details):

"Elections Have Consequences"

That is the excuse being used to strip legal protections from people in Wisconsin and Michigan. We were elected and we get to make the rules and ignore the law. That is the message being sent by newly elected legislators around the country.

We need to remember that! 2012 is coming up soon, and unless you want to see the downward spiral continue in the value of your income, your assets, your home, and your future then YOU should become involved to turn this country around!

• The House of Representatives just voted to eliminate funding for Public Radio - $0 savings, no reduction of deficit, just politics.
